Reshaping the thought process to effectively incorporate UX as a core value. More and more large companies are bringing UX teams in house and seeing it as a fundamental element of their business success. This is not surprising, given the important role UX is playing in the marketplace and what is being referred to as the “age of the customer.” Companies that were not founded with UX “in their DNA” are adopting it as if it were.

An amazing experience isn’t just about showing the right information – it’s about showing the right information at the right time. They are looking for an experience that is predictive and anticipatory. The key is to make use of all the channels we have available to increase access to helpful information. Instead of trying to design delight into our products, we need to create experiences that produce delight as a by-product of the experience, no matter the delivery platform or channel on which the content is delivered.
